How does the Dive Alert work?

Operation is as simple as pressing the activator button. Dive Alert was engineered to be operated as easily with a gloved hand as a bare hand, and as easily with the left hand as the right.

Just make sure that before every dive you check that Dive Alert is installed correctly and functioning properly. Also be careful not to point Dive Alert toward yourself or toward anyone who is in close proximity to you when you unleash Dive Alert's piercing sound, or loss of hearing could result.

After each use, Dive Alert should be pressurized and rinsed with fresh water with the rest of your gear.

Specifications

The Dive Alert uses chrome-plated brass couplings to attach to your power inflator. The activator button engages a chrome-plated brass actuator valve stem causing a small amount of air to rush by a stainless steel diaphragm, emitting a piercingly loud sound from the injection-molded thermoplastic body.
